The boudoir + erotica Photography Experience of North Carolina
Brittney Camacho
I'll start by saying that I am aware of all your ideal angles. I have all your perfect angles figured out as soon as you enter the studio. Actually before that, because here at the boudoir studio we put a lot of effort into the experience before the actual photography session. boudoir + erotica are both very vulnerable and nerve-wracking ideas for most people. which is why I have taken so much time to create a sequence of helpful videos + questionnaires, assignments tasks and activities for all of my clients to help them prepare and tap into themselves before even walking in the door for the photography part of their boudoir or erotica session.
because thats what i do!
I am an expert in both boudoir + people. I know youre nerves will be there but I also know youll trust in knowing i have it handled. Each pose and facial expression will be demonstrated for you, walked through and assisted. To strip off your clothes and get totally naked both physically and emotionally in front of a stranger is one of the hardest things to do, and for good reason (trust me, I understand!). But this place of vulnerability is one of the greatest spaces for growth and that is why you are here!
For this reason, I take all this time to learn as much about you as I can before during your experience + explore the most authentic you. I want to make sure you are completely comfortable with every aspect of your boudoir or erotica photography experience, even though it is outside of your comfort zone! By the time you walk through our doors for your session you will be confident + renewed.
but sometimes we hear….
Oh i just want pretty photos…-
Okay cool, that's not really what we do here though...
What do you mean?
Well, my mission is based on actually teaching people how to overcome their negative self-image, lack of intimacy + gain control of their lives + sexuality while then creating bomb-ass images that capture this transformation for them....
Oh well yeah every boudoir photographer says it's a "life-changing" experience though.
You're right they do. But I have actually created video assignments tasks and activities that you do leading up to your photography experience that actually do the things I say we do. Of course it's up to the client to actually make the choice to want to put the effort in to make their lives better though.
But does it actually do anything?
My clients who complete my "course" say it has literally changed their life, their self-view, the way they talk to themselves, carry themselves, the way they live and the way their relationships occur. Ourcouples report a huge impact + increase in their intimacy and communication, their happiness and understanding of one another skyrockets by engaging and dedicating time to the sequence of things I offer them!
But how do you know what you are even talking about or teaching?
Well that's the thing. Most photographers focus on learning more about photography... Which is great. I've dedicated years to becoming a certified sexologist + studying psychology in college + training in body image + emotions continuously through different courses to be able to teach the people I interact with how to live their BEST LIVES.
but you take amazing photos so why do all this extra stuff?
I do. + If that's all you want that's an option to. But you could also let me change your life. I love making art , but my mission is to impact and change the lives of my clients. To show them they are so much more they are beyond worthy + that they matter. Their sexuality + intimacy matters + I am able to do that through erotica + boudoir in such an intense, invigorating and empowering way.
